"Anyone any idea how Tesco cater for Chip & Signature Cardholders at the check-outs?"

if your chip and pin does not work then we will hopeful
can make it go to signature but at stores you will be able to use chip and pin

As far as I am aware, retailers are now under no obligation to accept card payments without a signature. So, you only have one choice - to use PIN.

If your card is a ‘chip and signature’ (I am not aware of these - though, it’s a very good idea) then I would presume that Tesco would be able to authorise this separately. Just like they do when you spend £100 or more at the ’self-serve’ check-outs."

if your card is a signature card and theres not signature then there has been times where card have been taken of customer because they could be stolen and will not be accpeted sorry.
