The Guardian today carries an excellent article by Andrew Brown on just how much we divulge to google — thoughts that we wouldn’t sometimes even disclose to our closest friend/relative are quite willingly given over to google.

The problem is, google really does offer a first-class service; it just insists you give up your privacy to use it :( However, I and others are so far willing to do this, that is until google ‘does evil’ and breaches a users’ privacy. Then their bubble just might burst..
